1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CueShort ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

CueShort is an AI-assisted production workspace for comic dramas: creators move through script, characters, storyboard, shot generation, and timeline editing in a single workflow, then export the finished episode. Our service includes:

Script and storyboard assistance tools

Character and shot image generation (powered by third-party AI models)

Character and shot video generation (powered by third-party AI models)

Timeline editing and final export

Asset management and creative assets

Cloud storage for your creations

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

Free Tier

We offer a free tier with limited usage including:

Limited AI generations per month

Basic templates and features

Standard resolution exports

Community support

Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions include additional features and higher usage limits:

Pro Plan: Enhanced AI generations, premium templates, high-resolution exports

Team Plan: Collaboration features, team management, priority support

Enterprise: Custom solutions, dedicated support, advanced integrations

Payment Terms

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance

All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

Cancellation and refund rules are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We may change pricing with 30 days notice

Failed payments may result in service suspension

Taxes are additional and your responsibility

4. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To use our service, you must:

Be at least 13 years old (or legal age in your jurisdiction)

Provide accurate and complete information

Keep your account credentials secure

Be responsible for all activity under your account

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our service to:

Create illegal, harmful, or offensive content

Violate intellectual property rights

Generate misleading or deceptive content

Create content depicting minors inappropriately

Harass, threaten, or harm others

Distribute malware or engage in hacking

Circumvent usage limits or security measures

Generate or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) or any non-consensual sexualized content

Impersonate others, or otherwise deceptively fabricate identity, voice, or likeness

6. Generative AI Content Policy

This section applies to all AI-generated content on the Service (text, images, video, audio). By using the generation features you agree to this section.

Prohibited content

Content that violates laws or regulations, or public order and good morals

Sexualized or sexually suggestive content involving minors, in any form

Content depicting a real person’s likeness, voice, or identity without their consent, including face swap, deepfakes, voice cloning, and impersonation

Hateful, harassing, violent, self-harm, or terrorism-related content

Content that infringes the intellectual property, trademark, likeness, privacy, or other rights of others

Malware, fraud, phishing, or content used to bypass security controls

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the prompts you submit and the assets you upload: you must hold the necessary rights, and you must verify the accuracy and lawfulness of any output before publishing it.

Our rights

We reserve the right to screen inputs and outputs automatically or manually, remove content, restrict features, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy (including suspected abuse). Generations that fail content screening are not delivered to the user and are not billed.

Takedown pathway

If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact legal@cueshort.com with proof of your rights and enough detail to locate the content. We will remove verified infringing content; repeat infringers will have their accounts suspended or terminated.

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or wrong. It is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and must not be used where a licensed professional is required.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Input Content

You may submit text, images, audio, video, or other materials to the Service (collectively, "Input Content"). You represent and warrant that your Input Content (including any music, voices, scripts, visual designs, dialogue, and other components contained in it) is your original work or that you have obtained all rights, licenses, permissions, and consents necessary to submit and use it with the Service, and that it does not violate applicable laws or infringe any third-party rights (including intellectual property rights, personality rights, or personal information rights), or violate public order or good morals.

As between you and CueShort, you retain all rights, title, and interest in your Input Content. You grant CueShort a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (solely for technical processing), and process your Input Content to provide, maintain, and improve the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Output Content

When you use the Service, it may generate images, videos, audio, text, or other content in response to your Input Content (collectively, "Output Content"). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, as between you and CueShort, you own the Output Content you generate. If any rights in the Output Content belong to a third party by operation of law or contract, those rights remain with the applicable rightsholder.

Our Service

Our service, including software, algorithms, and design, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue features with notice

Perform maintenance and updates

Suspend service for violations of these terms

Update these terms with notice

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

Service interruptions or technical issues

Third-party content or actions

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination:

Your access to the service will cease

We may delete your account and content after 30 days

You remain responsible for charges incurred

Surviving provisions continue to apply

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for small claims court matters. This agreement is governed by applicable laws.
